Julian The Turtle.

Its that time again, Orange Wednesday, the worst day to be working!

Alan and I headed down the road to pick up some last minuet things for London!!!
I'm so excited but I don't go till Sunday!! Ahhh!!
The button had fallen off! The first time I wore it! Not Happy!
I don't know what I was thinking with this outfit.
I am dying my hair tonight, as my roots are just awful! And I have to dye my new hair hair extensions which I got for London!

So with this outfit I wore my sheer tights, which I love for Autumn/Winter because it shows of your legs without looking like the idiot with bare legs wen its -10 outside. I also love them with boots rather than shoes, hence why I wore my little socks!

I have tons of ankle socks! These are a big trend all over blogs and on LOOKBOOK but I never see anyone in Glasgow wearing them.

Glasgow is know as: "Glasgow, city of style" which is true there are tons of stylish people! Unfortunately 90% of those stylish people have the same style. Glasgow has a very "Indie" Culture, lots of brogues, high wasted shorts and scarfs, its a good style, but becomes very boring when everyone is the same!
I blame this on TOPSHOP, not that that is they're style but they inspire people to be a little more daring in their style and I think people misinterpret this as "If everything I buy is from TOPSHOP then I will look good" Everything in moderation people!

Anyway! Rambling over!

I also wore my grey dress with the huge shoulder pads, I think this trend will start too die out soon, but don't worry It will resurface!

This was the  first time I have worn my military leather jacket, I never wear military stuff, just doesn't suit me, but this jacket is something special! I think It will make a lot of appearances in my Autumn/Winter wardrobe.

My bag is a fake, a damn good fake, but none the less fake. I know I know! But my mum got my it from holiday and I love it because she got my it rather than the fake label!

BRACELET Can't Remember

BAG Gift from Spain

As I have said before, were I live has great little charity shops, and these were some little treasures I found!
This little vintage bag was only £3! its so cute and in amazing condition! I think tiny bags are going to be huge this Autumn! We are carrying far too much around in our bags, its time to slim down girls!

We also found this little toy turtle! and look at his eyes! we couldn't leave him in the toy basket!
When we were in town we walked passed this wedding boutique, and this is what we saw, so cute!
It made me laugh so much, I wonder if anyone does buy these for their wedding?

I am planning to take my laptop to London with me so if this is my last post before then, I shall see you in London!

Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

On Wednesday I got a little surprise for when I got home, I was invited to go to Edinburgh for the night to see a comedian.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is wonderful and the whole city was buzzzing!

This is in the "Old Town" of Edinburgh, this is an area I have never been to before, but would go again!
Its lovely, filled with gorgeous buildings and loads of charity and vintage shops!

We headed to a little Tapas Restaurant for some dinner before the show, I'm not a Tapas fan, and never will be! ... Apologies Spain!

After dinner we ran up the road to The Pleasance, Edinburgh.

Its a lovely little courtyard for food and drinks which is in the middle of several halls, each halls playing host to different comedians, plays and musicians.

We we were there to see a comedian, a very funny, and very cute, Jack Whitehall!

My posts will be a little more interesting in the coming weeks...

Next week I am going to LONDON! I'm sooo excited!
Then I am back at College!
I am also getting a Camera at the end of the month! So my photos will get better :)
I also plan to have more posts about good vintage shops around Glasgow, Up coming trends etc etc!

Summer Is Done.

Saturday nights in my life are usually reserved for working, but this week I had the night off! My work friends and I where off to a party at my friends Stacey's, simple, just some food and beers and hopefully some laughs.

She just got married a few weeks ago so her and her husband have adopted the cutest little kitten ... (After My Ollie) ... Weasley! :)

I had gotten a few shots of my outfit for the night before heading out but unfortunately in my drunken state I may have deleted them :(

I chose to put my hair up, just for a little change, I think this hair style is something I shall do more often though.

For the occasion I wore this gorgeous little nude "American-Apparel-Esq" dress, which I got in the sales earlier that day.

At the time I just thought it was cute, but after wearing it I think it will become a new favourite.

I wore it with this lovely black rope belt, again another sale purchase, and my scarf from Budapest.

I kept Jewellery simple with just mint little mint earrings and mint bracelet.
New Look

Sunday was the last day before the Scottish school went back ... WHOO HOOO!
So work was pretty empty, and I was sent home.

Now it is a tradition in Scotland that the whole summer will be cold, windy, rainy! The last day of summer however is always glorious, and this will last a few weeks, very frustrating when I was at school, now however, the kids are back and I have two whole weeks of sunshine with not much work to do :)

My friends and I headed down to the park for a long walk in the sunshine.

As I was just out of work and didn't want to miss the sunshine, I again put my hair up.

I wanted to look summer-ish, but almost everything I own is black!

I wore this little vintage loose top which my sister bought that day, lets just say she might not be getting it back.

After much deliberation, I wore it with these basic little cycle shorts. I wish this had been a bigger trend this summer as I think its very 80s! Cute!

I wore my little floral hairband to give it a summer feel, a lot of people are wearing these right now and they seem to look cute on everyone! They remind me of the flowers Geisha's wear as they sit right on the side of the head.

This is Alan.
Will the odd converse catch on?
I hear its quite the trend in Slovakia!

Sun wasn't shinning to brightly today, so we went a little shopping trip in to Glasgow.
Simple :)
I wore my little white bodice, I really love these but I think the only way they should be worn is the way American Apparel advertise them ... BRA-LESS!
I can't stand seeing girls wearing hideous bras with them, it looks so cheap! I get a lot of grief about my underwear being on display, I don't care, underwear as outer wear is hot! I'm lucky that I have a body I love, I wish everyone could love their bodies so I am very grateful that I am so lucky! :D

In my career I want to help people be happy and feel beautiful, because everyone is beautiful!

I also wore my harem pants, another summer favourite.

I again stole this little Topshop bolero from my sister :) Its a lovely pattern and the material is so silky!

I felt like an Arabian princess today in this outfit.

Today I finally managed to get my sillybandz from, http://sillybandz.com/

They are so cute!

An Afternoon With Dinosaurs.

My Tuesday off work was spend a with friend of mine and some dinosaurs :)

We went in to the West End of Glasgow to the Kelvin Grove Art Museum.

When I left the house to head into Glasgow the sun was shinning, so I went for these cute green shorts I recently bought, shorts aren't something I often wear because I don't think my legs look good in them, but as I knew there would be dinosaurs I went for a "Archaeological Look" ... well my interpretation of Jurassic Park! lol.

Anyway I teamed the shorts with this baggy sequined top and my mac coat, I love! Trench Coat/Macs are like jeans, something classic that everyone should own.

I also wore my new little summer sandals, which I just wore so I got a chance too before summer was over.

And then there is my bag ... The most precious bag in my entire life.
My Louis!

Can't Remember

As well as its night life, little cafes and bohemian way of life the West End is also known for its fantastic collection of charity and vintage shops.

So after the museum we went a little wander around the west end.

If anyone is ever paying us a visit then definitely have a little journey into the West End, its lovely!

While in the West End I picked up last years Topshop soft Rose Pink Blazer, for just £17!!!! It retailed last year for between £50 - £70, I can't remember completely.

My friend is recently home from a 6 week trip to Slovakia!
Summer wasn't much fun with no one to play with!
But he brought me some wonderful presents home :)

I Intend to get one of these from everywhere I visit!

This beautiful scarf was hand made from Budapest.
It was bought for me because it reminded him of the scarf from "Confessions Of A Shopaholic" ...
Which was the sweetest thing I have ever heard :D

I love it!
