Danger, Cosmetics To Go.

On Monday night I was invited along to Lush on Buchanan Street to attend a wee blogger night to celebrate Lush's first book: "Danger! Cosmetics to Go"

The book tells the story of the rise and fall of the company that preceded Lush.

I am about to start reading the book tonight and will let you all know what I think, I'm very excited about it and the artwork is so gorgeous I could just sit and flip through it for that alone.

We met with the staff at Lush and talked all things bath bombs, creams and miracle products. Then we got the chance to talk to Author, Mira Manga about the book, who was just bloody lovely. She talked to us about why she wrote the book, how she wrote the story, her style of writing and we learnt a little about her life at Lush. Which, you know is a lot different from a lot of blogger events I've been to but it was so interesting, I was loving it.

The lovely author Mira Manga, with her baby ;)

I'm so excited to try out my goodie bag goodies!
Especially the shampoo as my sister RAVES about them, but I'm still torn. I haven't shampooed my hair since June, so I'm not sure if I even want to start shampooing again (I can hear my sister from the other room whispering "No Don't Shampoo" so she can have it, nice try Tojo) but I'm going to mull over it a few days before I decide, its really hard not shampooing because its just habit, but I just want my hair to be natural. I was a nice big sister and gave my sister the bath bombs, I'm not really a fan of bath bombs, I've had issues with them in the past, BUT the lovely Sam at Lush showed me a few that will be safe on my skin, so those ones are on my list to Santa!

The Book is available from Lush stores now, only £19.95

(a great gift idea, Wink! Wink!)

Thank you so so much to all the lovely staff at Lush and Mira for inviting me along! I had a great night and the staff put on a wonderful night!

Necklace Topman
Ring Edinburgh Dungeons
Hat Primark
Shoes Converse

The guys over at Bank sent me this amazing swing dress! I've fallen for them and now have collected 3 in the space of a week! I chose this one because I felt like I could wear it loads because of the dark colours, but because the grey has a shine its easy to wear out like this or out out with ankle boots. It was much longer and I cut it up, I think I just skimmed it on the length, another inch and it would have been a top.

Hair Update 5.

Not much difference since the last update.

Its still growing in really fast but I think we are at the stage now of it being shite and unmanageable, so I'm sure it will be like this for a while now, but on the plus side at the other side of the tunnel is a new shiny mane of healthy hair.

This week the lovely guys over at Bank were kind enough to send me over some goodies. I chose this adorable lilac jumper! I had originally taken the pink version, but I have a few pink jumpers and I thought this lilac was just amazing!
... I think I might go back for the pink one ...
Anyway I love it, its so comfy and cosy for winter and like I said I love the colour its so different from anything I have. I think because the of the colour I can wear it right through to spring, cause you know, it'll still be freezing by then.
I really like Bank, its another one of those shops that isn't on my hit list when I go shopping, but every time I go in I always find something I love! They have some lovely stuff in just now, I spotted some right wee beauts in the Lashes of London dept!

I also got a wee dress that I'm wearing out for dinner tomorrow, I may, may, even get some good photos for once since I will try to force my dinner buddy into a photo shoot.

Ahhhh I hate everything at the moment! Especially the shitty shitty lighting in my living room! and my shitty light mascara that makes my eyes look dead. I need a heavy one, cruelty free brands only, help guys? :( I also feel like I need something that's going to tighten up the look of my skin, it feels so saggy ... down to the booze no doubt, oops.

I got this wee top last week and I wasn't sure how much I could wear it with but this look came together quite well I think! I felt like it had a wee french feel to it, and surprisingly I wasn't too cold as the skirt has a really great fleece lining inside, which is nice that the faux leather doesn't stick to your legs.

I bought my first Christmas present today!
Only 6 Sundays to go! Wahhh!

Yes. These are actual riding boots. My theory behind this is, that by buying riding boots, they will be sturdy and waterproof and will last me a long time compared to buying them on the high street and they will probably fall apart quite quickly. For a tiny £18 i am fucking chuffed to bits!

This blazer was a recent find in the SALE! £10 ... RUN! It will be gone fast! I love all tartans really but I'd never thought about a tartan blazer. But this ones subtle enough that it will go with loads, but will still make the impact you'd hope for.

The dress I am in love with already and I can see me wearing it loads in loads of different styles, so watch this space!

Don't forget my Paul Mitchell Giveaway is still running till Friday!
So get entering its a great prize!

Who would have known that to perfect pink mo jumper would be found in Primark! I love mo jumpers but I'll be honest I never thought I would have gone for a pink one, but I think if you keep everything else monochrome then you can still keep it looking stylish.

I think it is finally time to put the flat forms away till summer. The rain has well and truly returned to Glasgow and they are just not practical anymore, which sucks. I really love them for nights out because obviously they give me the height without the pain of heels. Even though I'm tiny I do wear flats out quite a lot. If I wear heels they usually go back in my bag after a few hours so flats are just much easier!

How adorable is my Paul Mitchell bracelet!
You could have one too if you win my giveaway!
